Here at Jano, we are driven to blaze a new path for agave spirits in the United States that is separate and unique from Mexico, but still honors the Mesoamerican traditions that brought this special spirit to prominence. We feel our agave spirit, born from U.S. native Agave Americana, and 100% California grown, is in many ways a re-discovery of the traditional American Southwest. We strive to create a spirit that highlights California's different terroirs, from coast to mountain peak, but always staying true to the process of hand harvesting and fire pit roasting. The result is a potent spirit that is profoundly complex and proudly distinct.
